My name is Anh Tran (a.k.a. Rilwis), a WordPress developer from Hanoi, Vietnam.

I've been working with WordPress since 2006 when I was in the second year at the university in Russia. I found myself passionate about coding. Therefore, I taught myself about web development and WordPress.

After that, I felt that the knowledge I learned was quite interesting and wanted to share it with everyone. So I started this blog in 2010. Blogging is an important thing in my career, maybe the most. It brings a lot of fortunate to me such as English, freelance jobs and finally my products.

In 2016, I founded eLightUp to help grow my business. Currently, the company develops and maintains popular WordPress products:

  • Meta Box: A framework for custom fields and custom post types
  • Slim SEO: A fast and lightweight SEO plugin for WordPress
  • Auto Listings: A plugin to build car listings and car dealership websites
  • GretaThemes: A collection of simple and beautiful WordPress themes

We also do custom development service under another brand TitanWeb for domestic and foreign customers.

From this blog, I connected with may people in the WordPress community and built the Hanoi WordPress Meetup, the first meetup group in Vietnam, with Philip Author Moore. And then, together, we organized the first (and only to the date) WordCamp in Vietnam.
